The “Immagina. 21st Century School – Visionary Ideas and Practice” International Seminar promoted by the Associazione Docenti Italiani (ADI) and Indire, will host three sessions between today and tomorrow.
The seminar addresses innovation in terms of learner creativity, motivation and independence. It’s a fil rouge that unites a range of issues: learning environments and times, curricular innovation, a new relation with the working world and the acquisition of competences that are not only cognitive, but also - and above all - a more advanced independence from scholastic institutions.
Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy, University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director, Fondazione Mondo Digitale will open the first work session, coordinated by Giovanni Biondi, President of Indire.

Session one will address a number of innovations that are taking hold both theoretically and practically in schools. Alfonso Molina will introduce participants to the notion of school as a great social Phyrtual Innovation Gym, capable of providing answers to the dramatic challenges of the 21st century from unemployment to the NEET phenomenon.
