Group photo at the Rome Campidoglio for the 36 signatories of the Network Agreement for the diffusion of Educational Robotics in Schools. Promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, the initiative addresses all school levels and types. Its main objective is to orient students towards scientific careeers and create a interconnection amongst schools, industry and research. In the room next door, the students rejoice. They are the protagonists. The agreement crowns the 5th edition of the International City of Rome Robotics Tropy, a robot competition. From soccer to chess and Rubik’s cube, intelligent machines are fun and educational. ENEA is an official partner of the event, where it presented a prototype under development at the Centro Ricerche della Casaccia di Venus, a schooling robot capable of interacting with similar robots in a collective behavior model.
