They look like humans or animals – or insects, fish or plants. They can even be invisible and only made of bits, but regardless of their shape, they are transforming sectors such as medicine, industry, civil protection and much more.

 

At RomeCup2019, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with the support of Radio RaiEta Beta (Rai Radio1 – Saturday, March 30 at 11:05 am) will report on the evolution of the world of robots and the incredible benefits that they could provide to issues in search of a solution.

 

Guests: Federica Pascucci, one of the organisers of RomeCup2019; Lucilla Sioli, European Commission Director for Digital Industry and Artificial Intelligence; Andrea Zanela, ENEA Researcher, Coordinator for the NAO Humanoid that helps autistic children; Rinaldo Sacchetti, INAIL Researcher, Coordinator of Hannes, the robotic hand developed by INAIL and the Italian Technoloy Institute in Genoa that works with mental algorithms.
