The interpretation of Leopardi’s L’infinito, read in Italian and translated into English by the students at the Francesco D’Assisi School was the main event of the videoconference held between the Roman school and the two twinned schools of Project Digital Bridge. A Technological Bridge with Cameroon.
The famous poem by Leopardi along with other readings and the story of the Italian constitution fascinated many African students. In fact, Clister, LATS manager for GTS Lewoh, asked his Italian colleagues Paola Vita and Lilia Bellucci for more material on this subject.
The Italian teachers also asked to listen to and study the most important poems from Cameroon during the next videoconference that will be held in October.
This is how a reading on the Italian Constitution, Italy's 150th Anniversary and a traditional dance from Cameroon help strengthen the bond created by Project Digital Bridge. As Prof. Paola Vita explains, the school is about to formalize a series of activities that will be held over the course of the next months.
