Today’s main appointment (Friday, April 15) will be held at 10 am at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism (MiBACT, Via del Collegio Romano 27).
The event on “Young Artists and Art Studio Workshops” will be introduced by Onofrio Cutaia, Director General for Live Entertainment at MiBACT. The meeting will be moderated by Mirta Michilli, Director General of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, who will also present the Art Studio at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym. Speakers include two young artists working there: Simone Pappalardo, sound artist (Italy) and Yanai Toister, media artist (Israel).
How to fully exploit the Italian cultural and artistic heritage enriching individual experiences? Maria Gabriella Giardina, Technical Solutions Specialist, Samsung Electronics Italy, will present Project SCHEMA - Samsung for Culture Heritage, Monuments, Arts. The Project has been developed in the first 5 new halls of the Accademia in Venice. Schema provides a highly interactive and custom-tailored experience for everyone.
The event will be closed by Luigi Maccallini, Retail Communications Manager, BNL Group BNP Paribas.
From 11 am to 7 pm, the MAXXI will host the two exhibitions in the Spazio D and Corner D at the National Museum of 21st Century Art. There will be guided visits for schools from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
The day will end at a new location, the Quasar Design University, with “Meetings with Digital Art” from 7-9 pm.
The event will be introduced by Benedetto Todaro, Scientific Director, Quasar Design University and moderated by Laura Leuzzi, post doc research assistant, University of Dundee, UK. Speakers: Robert Saucier, artist (Canada), Toby Heys, artist (UK), Cinzia Cremona, artist (Italy) and Pasquale Diaferia, Creative Director, Quasar Design University.
The evening will end with a sound art performance by Roberto Fega.
