Roma Capitale Smart

“Thanks to the contributions made by research and innovation, together with the experience of a number of companies, Roma Capitale is about to kick off a series of development policies that will meet the social demands of the city.”

On Tuesday March 4, Rome’s Special Commission on Information Systems, Technology Innovation and Development and Smart Cities will host a convention entitled Smart City – Ideas and Projects for Roma Capitale (Campidoglio, Sala della Protomoteca, 9 am – 1 pm. The initiative, organized in collaboration with the Council for Productive Activities and with Mayor Ignazio Marino, will present the town hall’s projects for the use of technology and innovation to promote the development of Roma Capitale Smart.

Alfonso Molina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh will participate in the debate by presenting the Smart&Heart Rome Initiatives (see below). In fact, this initiative is a concrete example of a smart approach to youth policies that contrast unemployment and social disruption factors such as the Neet phenomenon.
