Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 21, there will be the final event of Project Roll Cloud – Workgin on the Cloud, the innovative course to introduce first and second-degree secondary school students in Piedmont to the scenarios, professions and competences emerging thanks to the diffusion of the Cloud, with the objective of enriching their educational and professional outlooks. Project Roll Cloud is part of Opening Future, a programme dedicated to the development of digital skills that is promoted by Google Cloud, Intesa Sanpaolo and Noovle, the TIM Group cloud company.
After participating in webinars hosted by partner company experts and being introduced to some of the most desired professions on the labour market, students worked on the Easy Cloud Story creative challenge to describe enabling technology on the cloud in a simple and efficient manner to children, adolescents and relatives through digital products that they created themselves: podcasts, videos, blogs and videogames.
The four most significant projects will be invited to participate in the Creative Day and optimise their products together with experts from the Fondazione Mondo Digitale. The meetings will include “inspirational” sessions and with company mentors.
The following four projects were selected from 50 proposals developed by work groups from 22 schools in Piedmont:
- The Sky Is Always More Cloud (video)
BEE first-degree secondary school, IC Alto Verbano, Verbania - Project Cloud (videogame) with Scratch, quizzes and presentation)
Class 3B, IC del Vergante, Invorio (Novara) - The Cloud (video)
Students Urraci, Ansaloni and Dinu, ITIS A. Avogadro, Turin - Hashtag the Sun is Out (podcast)
Students Magda Piergianni, Camilla Ranghino, Hadil Benlaglil, Ester Vathi, Emma Balestrieri
IS Ferrari Mercurino, Borgosesia (Vercelli)
The Creative Day will be hosted by Area X of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, the first experiential area dedicated to insurance. Thanks to holograms, virtual reality and gamification, students will be able to experiment with typical situations of everyday life through immersive, interactive and virtual experiences.
