AAs part of Futura, the national celebration of the National Digital Scholl Plan promoted by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research in Bologna (Jan 18-20), demos will be held of three RoboCup Junior specialities: Soccer, Rescue and Dance.
The team selected for the demos is composed of students from IIS A. Volta in Pescara, organizer of the European RoboCup Junior Championship 2018. These are the highly competent and motivated students that we have met over various editions of the RomeCup. Even last year, the Team Volta 4 was on the podium for the Rescue Category. And the year before they won the first edition of the Robotics Olympics with Project Ex-Robot, directed by Professor Renzo Delle Monache.
Demos of drones and robotic competitions in the Soccer, Rescue and Dance specialties will be held in the Robot Circus, which will be held in one of the most important squares of the Middle Ages, Piazza Maggiore, to drive the future of robotics and digital technology.
Dozens of robots and drones will animate soccer matches, emergency rescue missions, dances, and acrobatic shows, while teachers and students will host the future in the Fab Lab, provide virtual experiences with digital eyes and present Industry 4.0.
