Robots for Climate Emergency

As part of the 14th edition of the RomeCup 2020 multi-event (April 21-23, 2020), the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Invitalia will launch the Talent Tour with Invitalia, a four-part challenge (Palermo, Pisa, Turin and Rome) in collaboration with universities. The objective is to stimulate young talented men and women to propose robotic solutions and business ideas on climactic change.

 

AI & ROBOTICS FOR CLIMATE CHANGE CHALLENGE

The aim is to exploit the potential of artificial intelligence and robotics to contrast climactic change by developing innovative ideas that will reduce the environmental impact of the economy and drive responsible behaviour by citizen-consumers based on the principles of eco-sustainability and inclusion.

 

Participants may be:

  • Physical persons, either individually or in teams (max. 3 people)
  • Any type of enterprise

The first hackathon [see Regulations], organised by the Consorzio ARCA and the University of di Palermo, will be held in the Sicilian capital on January 30, 2020 from 9 am to 6 pm [see news: Climate Challenge].

 

Registration deadline: January 20, 2020.
