The Liceo Leonardo in Agrigento on their experience with Rising Youth and SAP
“Science makes us free and curious. It allows us to develop skills and abilities to and face new challenges with awareness.” Alessio Farruggia and Alberto Gaetano Stella, students in Class 5° at the Liceo Scientifico Leonardo in Agrigento, described their exciting school experience on yesterday’s Il Giornale di Sicilia.
"[...] Placing third at the Rising Youth Hackathon at Sapienza University of Rome was exciting. The challenge, developed in collaboration by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and SAP, one of the top global companies providing IT solutions for enterprise, helped us to acquire and strengthen the digital and soft skills that are required to face the continuous changes and challenges presented by the labour market, as well as reflecting on the professional opportunities that are flourishing thanks to digital transition.”
The article also includes the thanks of school administrator Patrizia Pilato and the faculty, including Luigi Martino Scandaglia, who pointed the article out to Fiammetta Castagnini, Project Coordinator.
“We believe that talent, creativity, and everyone’s potential are values to discover, encourage and develop. The use of new technology applied to the scientific method is a fundamental tool to express ourselves.”
