The fifth edition of the RomeCup, International City of Rome Robotics Trophy, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, expands the traditional three-events-in-one formula (competitions, exhibition area and conference) to include: didactic labs for schools that will involve more than 2000 students over two days, teacher workshops and an institutional appointment for the signature of the first network agreement launching a national long-term strategy for educational robotics.

  • Opening Ceremony (March 14, 10 am): Tullio De Mauro, Professor Emeritus of Linguistics, Rome "La Sapienza" University and President of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale
  • Exhibition area, didactic laboratories, competitions, teacher seminars (March 14, 10 am – 5 pm / March 15, 10 am – 1 pm)

 

March 16 - Protomoteca, Rome City Hall
  • Final competition rounds (10-12:30 am)
  • Round Table - Robotics between Present and Future: long-term vision and roadmap for Italy (10 am)  
  • Signature of the Memorandum of Understanding on Educational Robotics (12:30 am)
  • Awards Ceremony (1:00 pm)
