Robotics and Competitions

The Phyrtual Innovation Gym’s Robotics Centre continues to organize labs, especially with the upcoming competitions of the tenth edition of RomeCup and the first Robotics Olympics, organized by the Italian Ministry of University, Education and Research in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.

Today, children from year five at the dell’Istituto comprensivo Piazza De Cupis Primary School are at the Robotics Centre for the first time.

Coached by nineteen-year-old Riccardo D’Aquino, who has successfully competed in international events [see news Building, Programming and Testing], the young designers will begin to explore the Lego Mindstorms NXT Kit to then build and programme an explorer robot.
