Even in the premiere league, the list of injured footballers keeps growing longer … Some will return after a period of rest, while, for some of them, the season is over.
The situation is not very different for the humanoid football team trained by the Sapienza University “A. Ruberti” Department of Information, Management and Automation Engineering.
Each year, at the RomeCup, the Nao Robots exhibition attracts a crowd of young enthusiasts. Younger children can kick penalty shots against a Nao goalie. This year, however, the performance is at risk, because the robots are injured.
If the robots do not get better in time for RomeCup 2017, there will be a surprise that we will announce shortly
