The Right to Health

Empathy and custom-tailored cures can change the life of adolescents discovering school both as a resource for their right to health and the value of research for the common good.

At 10 am, on World Children’s Day (November 20, 2020), there will be the second regional event of Factor J, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale programme developed in collaboration with Janssen Italia, the pharmaceutical company of the Johnson&Johnson Group, and with the patronage of the National Institute of Health. The project aims to educate one hundred thousand young men and women to inclusion, empathy and respect towards individuals suffering from serious issues and/or diseases.

The live event with a focus on chronic inflammatory bowel diseases will bring together doctors, health operators, educators and witnesses of project partner associations, including AMICI Onlus. Chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) are a heterogeneous group of pathologies on the rise, whose causes are unknown. They are considered an emergency amongst children and adolescents, who represent 25% of the total cases.
