“Responsible Leadership in diversity and dialogue” is the title of the Forum that will bring to Vienna (Feb 27-28) politicians, regional and international personalities third sector and media to promote a dialogue on a range of sectors and different cultures.
Discussions at the Vienna Forum will concentrate on how a responsible leadership can have a long-term influence by exploring three great issues:
• Promotion, protection and full enjoyment of the universal right to religious freedom in a pluralistic society;
• Media pluralism and diversity of content as key factors to promote public debate, democracy and the awareness of different opinions;
• The potential and challenge of developing a new narration for migration, mobility and integration in the global economy.
Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will participate in the workshop on Social Media (February 28, 10 am).
Professor Molina and other important personalities will examine the possibility of creating a new communication ethics to help ward off intolerance and negative stereotypes.
