More than ten nationalities are on the pitch for the “Io ci sono” football match promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale at the end of World Refugee Day. After the round table organized to present the results of Project Ricominciodatre, organisations and refugee reception centre guests moved to the Santa Maria Sport Center football pitch. The stands were filled with Roman students and senior citizens from the many elderly centres in Rome. IIS L.Pirelli in Rome had a sign saying "United by the same Passion."

The teams were welcomed by Deaf Drums Road, the first group of deaf percussionists from the "Convitto Sordi" in Rome, directed by Sergio Quarta.

And then it’s time for the gam: refugee centre guests (green tops) vs. Roman schools, organisations and companies (white tops). First half: 3-0 for the greens, a score that doesn’t change in the second half. A key moment was also the match amongst the young players of the Santa Maria-Visnova Football School and the Esquilino Football Club to bring youth closer to frontierless sports. The Esquilino team also featured a very young girl with deep black eyes, pigtails and fast legs. Santa Maria-Visnova won 4-0.

The match was commented by Maya Amenduni and Federico Ghilardi for the “Te lo faccio vedere chi sono io” radio programme on Radio Sei, the event media partner.
Not only were they on the side of the pitch to comment on the game, but they continued to speak about immigration and refugees on their programme the next day, too.

The live broadcast also featured Alfonso Molina, who also participated in the match alongside the refugees against the schools and organisations participating in Project Ricominciodatre. Prof. Molina brings not only his personal experience as a refugee, but his expertise in expediting reception processes through the use of new technology.
