The six partners of Project IDEAL - Integrating Digital Education in Adult Literacy will meet over the next two days in Antwerp, Belgium to kick off activities for the project financed as part of the Erasmus + Programme (KA2 Strategic Partnership).
Barbara Quarta, project coordinator in Italy, will represent the Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
The two-year project aims to train European teachers on the use of ICT tools and methodologies for adult education (basic skills) to bridge the gap between formal and informal education. In particular, the project will address adults at risk of exclusion (immigrants, unemployed individuals and individuals with special needs and reading and logical deficits). In Italy, most beneficiaries are immigrants and refugees with low ICT skills.
