The Pink Code of Summer

The second edition of the Summer School organised as part of the Coding Girls Programme, promoted by Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the American Embassy in Italy in collaboration with Microsoft continues in Milan after kicking off in Catania [see news: Coding Time].

The objective of the project is to overcome gender stereotypes and attract young women to coding, allowing them to positively experience new technology, propose new models and work to reach gender equality on the labour market.

The course in Milan involved young women studying at IIS Falcone-Righi in Corsico and IIS Natta in Milano with Coach Giulia Pavonello. The activities were coordinated by Professors Paola Pupilli and Maria Amato.

The next appointments are in Naples (Monday, July 10) and Rome (Friday, July 14). In September, the courses will be held in Catania, Milan, Naples and Rome.
