The Open Innovation Challenge was held yesterday at the Rome Campus Bio-Medico University as part of the DigiLife Strategy Workout, the session organized to create a collective outlook of the Digital and Life Sciences Ecosystem, developed in collaboration with Lazio Innova

Multi-sectorial teams addressed five challenges related to Life Sciences. How to provide updates to relatives of first-aid patients? The challenge launched by the Rome Campus Bio-Medico University was won by Project "Calm & Track," which will be able to access support services provided by Lazio Innova for development and prototype development, as well as compete for the final €20,000-Euro Award for the most innovative bio-medical service.

As part of RomeCup 2018, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and Lazio Innova launched a strategic challenge to all operators in the Life Sciences Eco-system (DigiLife). They were given two days to share ideas, experiences, objectives and competences, during which small, medium and large enterprises, as well as start-ups, spin-offs, universities, research centres, hospitals and schools, worked together to create new connections and initiate a guided process for the creation of a shared development strategy between the Regione Lazio and national and international operators.
