Since 2005, the European Night of Researchers is held every September, involving over 1.6 million visitors, hundreds of researchers, research centres, agencies, universities, associations and other organisations working to promote science in 400 cities throughout the European Union.
September 24 is a special night dedicated to science with many free events to bring citizens closer to the world of research.
This year, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will be collaborating with the Science Together Network that has organised an event at the Città dell'Altra Economia [see full programme].
The InnovationGym fab lab will also be present with a stand, to show participants how to build a gravitational wave with digital manufacturing tools. In fact, several exhibit items on waves and black holes for the “Build Your Gravitational Wave” exhibit have been manufactured at the Innovation Gym by Sapienza and the Roma1 INFN Section.
