First of all, we would like to remind you that the Rome Maker Faire begins today. The Fondazione Mondo Digitale is present with five projects in two pavilions [see news: FMD at the Maker Faire]. This afternoon, FMD Director General Mirta Michilli will participate in a debate on " What Education is Necessary to Face the Digital Challenge?” promoted by I-RIM [see news: Intelligent Machines].

 

Also today, at the Milan “Festival della crescita,” there will be an experiential lab held by Cecilia Stajano, while tomorrow there will be a presentation by FMD Scientific Director, Alfonso Molina [see news: Nurture, Growth and Development].

 

And there is a small, important event in Rome, too, for students at the Istituto Comprensivo Piazza Winckelmann: an open day to showcase the activities developed for Project Learn STEM in the Summer.

 

The following projects will hold activities next week:

The “Free Course for Cultural Marketing Technician” starts to train a new generation of specialists in cultural marketing, as part of the Lazio Region Call. Labs will be held at the Fab Lab.

Five labs will be held in the principle hubs, at the Microsoft House and Phyrtual Innovation Gym and at the school hub in Brindisi.

Training continues in various cities. Next Friday, Cecilia Stajano will present the original experience at Digital Meet.

    Scratch programming activities in the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Coding Lab at the Istituto comprensivo Grimaldi Lombardi in Bari.
  • She Means Business

Two appointments reserved for women: Teramo on Monday [see agenda] and Catania on Wednesday.

On Monday, there will be the second appointment of WWWomen! [see agenda]. On Wednesday, there will be the fourth and final meeting of Seniors On-line [see agenda], while, on Friday, there will be the second meeting for “Turn the camera” [see agenda].

Nine interactive educational sessions in Milan, Rome, Palermo, Varese, Reggio Calabria and Cagliari.
