Next week is the last “full” week before the winter school holidays. After three days of “immersion” with schools for the Global Junior Challenge, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale will pursue its mission in other areas.
On Monday 16 and Tuesday 17, the Phyrtual Innovation Gum will host the first appointment of the second edition of the Digital Academy: "Digital Transformation in Public Health” promoted with Siti [see progamme leaflet]. The educational event is reserved for health professionals.
Also on Monday 16, Palermo will host a She Means Business Training Session for women who already run an enterprise or are looking for new professional opportunities [see agenda].
On Wednesday afternoon (ca. 3-6 pm), Prof. Maria Stella Bottai from the Faculty of Humanities at Sapienza University of Rome, will accompany students on the Master’s Degree Programme in Didactics and Methodology for Teaching Art History to the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab to learn about how a digital manufacturing lab can become a reference point for artistic and creative production. The students will work with Matteo Viscogliosi, maker, designer and Fab Lab Coordinator.
On Thursday, December 19, there will be the Fondazione Mondo Digitale Christmas Event to cheer to a year of common work, review results and preview some of our upcoming activities. The event will be held at 6:30 pm at Binario F [see news: A Special Invitation].
The On-line Accord Course on Conflict Management is available until December 18.

The Regione Lazio Call for the "Free Course on Cultural Marketing Technician” promoted by the Ro.Ma. Consortium and the “Gema” Business School, aims to train a new generation of cultural marketing specialists. Labs will be held at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym Fab Lab on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. - OpenSpace
Steam activities will be held at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym at IC Madre Teresa di Calcutta in Milan. - Palestra dell'Innovazione
Besides the Digital Academy on public health, courses will also address digital competences and orientation (former School-Work Programme) for the Liceo Democrito in Rome with Coaches Daniele Vigo and Marco Brocchieri [see news: Coding and Robotics]. On Friday, students from the Istituto comprensivo Viale dei Consoli will work on producing clean energy with the Lego Kit on Renewable Energy. - She Means Business

As usual, over the weekend, the digital manufacturing lab (Fab Lab) at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym is open to the maker community: Saturday-Sunday from 3:30 to 8:30 pm.
