Today, the Naples Città della Scienza will inaugurate the Science Illuminates” Exhibition at 5:30 pm. The exhibition provides a scientific and artistic journey through light to address major issues including sustainability, development and innovation.
The Science Illuminates” Exhibition has been organized for the International Year of Light by Sapienza University of Rome, the Sapienza Museum Network and in collaboration with the National Nuclear Physics Institute, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, the Fondazione Idis-Città della Scienza and the “Le Nuvole_Teatro Arte e Scienza” Cooperative.
A top-notch team, including professors, makers, artists and technology experts, has been working on the exhibition under the coordination of Professor Giovanni Organtini, representative for Scientific Communication of the Sapienza Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Physics.
The exhibition is organized in three macro sections (geometric optics, physical optics and quantum mechanics) with interactive installations and artistic performances. (also see: Exhibition Sections).
The exhibition will be open until January 10, 2016. Booking is required for school visits (fourth year primary school through last year second degree secondary school).
