This is a series of meetings open to researchers from a range of fields and organized by ECCO (Evolution, Complexity and COgnition group), a multi-disciplinary research group directed by Francis Heylighen, who also headed the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
"Theories and Practice in an Emerging Physical/Virtual Environment for Social Innovation and Education for Life" is the title of the presentation that will be held by Alfonso Molina, Professor of Technology Strategy at the University of Edinburgh and Scientific Director of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, who will illustrate the Phyrtual platform, an on-line interactive environment to share knowledge, projects and experiences on social innovation, integrated with a crowdfunding platform. Molina will explain the life education model, as interpreted by a knowledge-oriented non-profit organisation, and the Phyrtual Innovation Gym.
Prof. Molina, who will speak on Friday June 13 at 2 pm at the VUB Campus in Etterbeek, will present a two-part presentation and debate (informal and interactive).
The video of the seminar will be available on the YouTube Channel of the Global Brain Institute.
