Mobility Manual

We have already spoken about Project EUReKA, which aims to facilitate the exercise of EU citizens’ rights related to free circulation, inclusion and participation in the life of other members states through specific and custom-tailored digital information packages that will provide answers to their needs and promote the abilities and experience [see news: Mobile Citizens].

Today, we would like to alert you to a new manual, which is available on-line: EU Mobile Citizens Go Digital. The manual collects a series of digital good practices and several recommendations to simplify access to information for EU citizens on mobility (visibility, multilingualism, simplicity, utility, specific and custom-tailored content, updates and accessibility). Moreover, it also contains recommendations to implement simple communication and avoid any form of discrimination. The manual ends with a survey of the institutional websites in the member states participating in Project EUReKA Project, with an accurate analysis of activities, content, methodology and short and medium-term results for each site. Then, there is a compendium of EU sites and services, including Your Europe, which is available in all Union languages, the Europe Direct sites which provides information to all European citizens, and the Eures site that provides direct multimedia interaction in real time on job requests and postings within the EU.
