Linguist Tullio De Mauro, who guided us as President of the Fondazione Mondo Digitale for ten years (2001-2011) passed away two years ago on January 5, 2017.
The International Global Junior Challenge Competition has been dedicated to his memory. Today, we would like to represent La scuola secondo De Mauro (School According to De Mauro), a booklet that presents the full collection of speeches and messages in memory of Professor Emeritus Tullio De Mauro presented by institutions and prominent Italian cultural figures at the 8th edition of the Global Junior Challenge.
The conference entitled “De Mauro’s School” brought together men and women from a myriad sector that worked with or shared the ideas of the scholar, an expert on school and education. The speeches were also available in LIS (Italian Sign Language) and as a graphic recording.
