International Project IDEAL - Integrating Digital Education in Adult Literacy, will host a workshop today in Arendal, Norway at the Arendal Adult Education Centre. The project is financed as part of the Erasmus + Programme (Strategic Partnership KA2).
The meeting will address the strategic use of digital technology for teaching adults, share the results of the needs analysis conducted in various countries and prepare the first international workshop for teachers working in adult education that will be held in Finland next October.
The aim of the two-year projects is to train teachers on ICT tools and methodologies for adults (basic skills) to overcome the divide between formal and informal learning. In particular, the project addresses adults that risk social exclusion (immigrants, unemployed, special needs and individuals with reading and mathematical deficits). In Italy, the project addresses immigrants and refugees with a low-level of ICT skills.
