6000 students, aged 15-24, 9 Italian regions, 18 schools and 2 universities. These are the numbers behind the national Meet No Neet, Project promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Microsoft and Roma Capitale.
 
The initiative, financed by Microsoft as part of the Youth Spark Italia Programme and Roma Capitale for the Città Educativa Programme, has officially kicked off.
 
On Tuesday, January 29 Fondazione Mondo Digitale Director Mirta Michilli met with Lori Harnick, General Manager of Microsoft Citizenship and Public Affairs, and Roberta Cocco, Social Responsibility Manager for Microsoft Italy to officially receive the grant.
 
Training for teachers and students – both on- and off-line – will begin in March 2013 with technology and social innovation experts. The list of eighteen participating schools and two universities will be on-line shortly.
