Managing Conflict

During the first year of activities for Project ACCORD, the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, the “Federico II” University of Naples (Italy), Aidvanced Srl (Italy), the University of Barcelona (Spain), the “Friedrich Alexander Erlange” University of Nurnberg (Germany), the University of Vienna (Austria) and the University of Antwerp (Belgium) developed an educational course to support teachers in the management of conflict and cultural diversity.

The course is based on five video lessons that are integrated with an on-line role game - Accord – in which users actively experiment with concepts and conflict dynamics in simulated scenarios. The content is also available in Italian.

We are looking for coaches and teachers with experience and education in this field who are interested in learning about new tools, testing the course and completing a course evaluation questionnaire. The results will be used to further refine the course before providing it for free.

Our objective is to help teachers take an active role against discrimination and racism. The various lessons and the game activities will help users to become more aware and develop an understanding of the competences necessary for intercultural literacy, inclusive pedagogic approaches and conflict management amongst different cultures.

Anyone interested in testing the course and collaborating on its evaluation can sign up here. We will contact you in the coming months and provide you with a link to access the course.
