“We use artificial intelligence systems every day, even if we are not aware of it,” explains Coach Lara Forgione [@ForgioneLara] to her students at IIS Lombardo Radice who are participating in labs on artificial intelligence organised by Programme Ambizione Italia for Schools, promoted by Microsoft.
The interactive activities focus not only on the mechanisms at the basis of machine learning, but also include critical reflections on the responsible use of artificial intelligence for the common good. “Everything that concerns the ability of machines to complete actions raises doubts and issues. Is it advisable to let AI have the opportunity to decide which tasks to complete?”
