At RomeCup 2019, the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Florence and IRCCS Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus will showcase prototypes prevalently related to bio-robotics at their stand. The main project is HOLD, an ad hoc, low-cost robotic device.

The objective of Project HOLD, coordinated by researchers Alessandro Ridolfi and Yary Volpe, is to develop an ad hoc, low-cost robotic device conceived to prolong the efficacy of rehab sessions and promote the restoration of manual functionality. Federica Vannetti (IRCCS Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi Onlus) and Bianchini (CNR – Institute for Complex Systems) collaborated on the project. The video was produced by for Walter Daviddi per D3 Brightlab s.r.l.

UNFI DIEF will also participate in the Marebot and Agrobot Contests with the IIS Balducci School in Pontassieve.
