Life in a Breath

"Life in a Breath" is the slogan of the campaign launched by Janssen Italia, a pharmaceutical company belonging to the Johnson & Johnson Group, in collaboration with the Italian Pulmonary Hypertension Association (AIPI). The objective of the campaign is to inform and raise awareness on pulmonary hypertension, a cardiopulmonary disease that is not very well known and often not considered. When it is not diagnosed timely, it can have significant consequences on the quality of life of patients and their families.

 

The students who participated in Project Factor J during the course of the year already had the opportunity to learn about some of the issues addressed by the campaign with the help of medical specialists and experts from AIPI.

 

We also provided participants with the scientific expertise of specialist doctors from the Rome Campus Bio-Medico University, the scientific partner of Project Factor J. Moreover, together, we produced educational videos for schools on haematology, immunology, pulmonary hypertension and neuroscience.

 

Today, we would like to share again the video of Prof. Francesco Grigioni addressing pulmonary hypertension. In the first part, the specialist describes the pathology, while in the second he explains the importance of therapeutic alliance [see news: Taking Care].

 

 

 

Factor J, promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with Janssen Italia, is the first Italian school curriculum for educating students to develop emotional intelligence, respect and empathy towards individuals suffering from unease of disease. This is an important social operation to stimulate a change in mentality and culture in the new generations.
