On June 7-8, the University of West Attica (Campus 2) in Athens will host the IoT & Game Hackathon, a game coding marathon to help people acquire a greater awareness of social media and promote the security of citizens.

 

Participants, who must be familiar with the Java and Python Coding Languages, will need to bring their own device (BYOD), while software and hardware (Mathisis Platform) will be provided by the organisation.

 

The jury will select the three most efficient projects for affective-emotional learning and present the following prizes:

·       Drone (Parrot Mambo Fly)

·       Sport Camera (Campark ACT74)

·       IoT Kit (OSOYOO IoT Starter Kit for Arduino)

 

The hackathon is organised as part of Project MaTHiSiS - Managing Affective-learning THrough Intelligent atoms and Smart InteractionSfunded by the European Commission in the framework of the Horizon2020 ICT 2015 – Information and Communication Technologies Programme.
