Today, IIS Pacinotti-Archimede in Rome, lead partner of the National Network of Phyrtual Innovation Gym Schools, developed and promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with the support of MIUR, the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, inaugurates its school “gym.”

“Phyrtual Innovation Gym - Work in progress"
At 10.30 am, Lazio Region President Nicola Zingaretti will be welcomed by Headmaster Valeria Santagata and teachers:

▪ Loredana Zampardi, Deputy Headmaster
▪ Roberta Fausti, Assistant to the Headmaster
▪ Annalucia Crichigno, Headmaster’s staff
▪ Rodolfo Falcioni, Robotics Coordinator
▪ Alessandra Santini, Orientation Coordinator
Prof Maria Punturo will hold a guided visit to the Phyrtual Innovation Gym’s Fab Lab and Ideation Room, where young student makers will showcase their projects and the use of digital machinery.
This will be followed by a visit to Musis, the school museum, to present the bonds between the past and innovation with a brief presentation by Prof Luigi Campanella, Musis President and Professor of Museology and Management of Cultural Heritage Management at Rome’s Sapienza University.
The programme continues with a visit to the Coding Labs, guided by Prof Fiorella Fiore, and the Robotics Centre with Prof Rodolfo Falcioni.
The day will end in the school’s main lecture hall with Headmaster Valeria Santagata and the participation of:

▪ Fabio Pizzuti, Telecom Italia, who has collaborated for seven years in the School-Enterprise Network
▪ Sandro Rosiglioni, Rosiglioni Impianti, a former student who has brought his company into the school.
The event will be concluded by Regione Lazio President Nicola Zingaretti.
