It’s the last week for Project Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office, promoted by Poste Italiane in six pilot cities: Ascoli, Asti, Mantua, Naples, Palermo and Rome.
This week, the elder students in Palermo wil complete their course with the tutors from the IIS Duca Abruzzi-Libero Grazzi School, managed by Headmaster Claudia Corselli. The courses have been coordinated by Prof Teresa Meli, with the logistic help of Leda Parisi. The youngest tutor (13 years old) and the eldest student (89 years old) attend the courses in Palermo.

Grandparents on the Internet at the Post Office was conceived to help elders navigate the web and learn more about new communication technology. Poste Italiane opted for the Grandparents on the Internet Model developed by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale to promote its digital literacy pilot project in post offices around the country [see news "Grandparents at Post Offices"].
