Catania is the last stop for the Coding Girls Educational Tour, the programme promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the United States Diplomatic Mission to Italy in collaboration with Microsoft to fight gender stereotypes in the scientific and technological fields. After intensive training sessions in the city and province, (Galilei, Marconi, Mangano, Principe Umberto, Archimede), today a hackathon will be held at the University of Catania. The hackathon will be coordinated by American Supercoach Emily Thomforde, Code Educator and Science Technology Engineering Art and Mathematics (STEAM) Specialist.
