The Global Junior Challenge is the international competition that rewards the innovative use of technology for 21st century education and social inclusion. Promoted by the City of Rome, the GJC is organized by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale under the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.
The GJC provides a unique opportunity to reflect on the challenges of the 21st century for innovation in didactics, integration, sustainable development and the reduction of world poverty.
As part of the 7th edition of the Global Junior Challenge (GJC), Rome will host the Knowledge Society Forum 2015 (KSF). A major issue connects these two major international events: innovation, civic, social and technological innovation.
The GJC and KSF are promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, in collaboration with the City of Rome, Eurocities and Forum PA under the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic.
The “Smart and Heart Cities” Conference, the main event of the KSF, and the Global Junior Challenge will be held in Rome on October 27-30, 2015.
Today marks the ending of phase one: project submission and candidatures for the various calls.
