The meeting promoted by Fundetec and the Instituto de Educación Secundaria Vila-Roja, was held on May 16 at IES Vila-Roja in the Spanish city of Castellon.
Grandparents, knowledge volunteer tutors and their coordinating teachers will present the results of the digital literacy project for over-sixties promoted by the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with 7 European partners.
The Italian volunteers were virtually there with their Spanish colleagues via videoconference.
The event was also the occasion to present the “El Abecedario de Internet”, a small pamphlet developed by the school alumni involved in the project.
The two-year "The Knowledge Volunteers" initiative is financed by the European Commission as part of the Grundtvig Programme.
