Italian Scratch Festival

The 7th edition of the Italian Scratch Festival will be held tomorrow, Saturday, May 12. This is a national initiative organised by the Associazione Dschola and dedicated to Scratch, a software tool created by MIT to promote the creativity of young students through the development of simple programmes and games.

 

 

Over sixty teams have registered from around Italy for the 2018 edition. The Associazione Dschola jury selected 15 finalists, who will present their works to professors and experts in the Auditorium of the ITIS Majorana School in Grugliasco.

 

This initiative, which is held to celebrate the global Scratch Day 2018, is organised by the Associazione Dschola in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science, University of Turin, the Fondazione Mondo DigitaleTUnion Torino and ACM Future of Computing Academy.
