Today, experts from the Centro studi e ricerche Idos are in Casablanca, Morocco for a seminar for Moroccan operators for legal immigration to Italy. Project IPRIT – Legal Immigration Routes to Italy is promoted by the Ministry of the Interior and managed by the Centro Studi e Ricerche IDOS and partners ANOLF and Fondazione Mondo Digitale.
After the first edition, which was only held in Morocco, Project Iprit has now been extended to Tunisia, too.
Over 500 million emigrants reach Italy from Morocco, while Tunisia rings in at about 100 thousand. During this period of crisis, migration from these two countries continues, although the emigrants are often not aware of the legislation regulating immigration.
