IoT Continues to Grow

The Internet of Things Sector continues to grow significantly in Italy, in line with the international trend, as confirmed by recent data from the “Internet of Things” Observatory of the Milan Polytechnic.

 

In 2017, the sector increased by 32%, a value that is worth up to 3.7 million euro. It is fundamental that young men and women develop relevant competences to manage this transformation and continue to drive the its fast development.

 

This is the main objective of Project "IoT at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym" promoted with Cisco that introduces young men and women to the potential of the Internet to connect individuals, infrastructure, objects, processes and data.

 

Today, Thursday, May 24, from 9 am to 1 pm, Coach Marco Brocchieri will host a training session at the Rome Liceo Stanislao Cannizzaro, directed by Giuseppa Tomao. Sandra De Amicis is the coordinating professor for the four participating classes (2F, 2G, 3F and 4H).

 

In two and a half years, Project "IoT at the Phyrtual Innovation Gym" has given 20,000 secondary school students the opportunity to experientially acquires competences and knowledge that will help them explore the new professions created by the interconnected world and face the job market with an adequate preparation.
