The Master Course in Advanced Interaction (MAI), promoted by the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalogna (IAAC) is a unique opportunity to explore the create use of technology for experimental and practical objectives. It is open to a wide range of professional profiles, including designers, artists, coders, choreographers, scenographers, architects, makers, etc.
The objective of the programme is to allow participants to learn how to develop projects with a significant interaction between new technological solutions, performance and installations. Key issues addressed by the course include: wearables, artificial intelligence, human-machine interaction and augmented environments.
Students on the course become part of an international group that studies innovative solutions for modern society through the synergy of a wide range of different competences.
The Master Course on Advanced Interaction (MAI), directed by Klaus Obermaier and Luis Fraguada, is a nine-month programme recognised by the Universidad Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) with 75 ECTS credits.
