We return with a new preview for the Forum PA that will be held on-line on July 6-11. This year the event will host four live streaming events, organised as a relay, to discuss the hottest issues of resilient digital transformation. Cecilia Stajano [@CStajano], School Innovation and Community Manager at the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, will participate in the second session entitled "Non ho l'età" (I’m Not Old Enough) on Saturday, July 11 (10:30 – 11:15).
Forum PA, July 11, 2020
10:30 – 11:15 am
During our current digital revolution, our greatest challenge is that no one be left behind. Elders aged 75 and above represent 11.7% of the Italian population. Videocalls, sharing experiences through storytelling and simplified web navigation are just a few of the initiatives that have been fielded to promote maximum social inclusion through digital tools and platforms.
The creation of new competences, digital literacy and the awareness of how to employ new technology are central issues for the active development of elders with an aim to constantly reducing the generational gap.
