During the course of the event, project partners will sign the Inter-institutional Network Agreement for the full social inclusion of immigrant citizens. The agreement is open to local associations, prefectures, regional and provincial school departments and CTPs.

“Imagine what would happen if for just one day all of the immigrants in the EU stopped working. The economy of 27 countries would collapse.” This is what European Internal Affairs Minister Cecilia Malmström declared just a few days ago at the presentation of the latest ENAR Report  (European Network Against Racism). The report emphasizes how in a period of austerity, immigration is not a part of the problem, but rather part of the solution to revitalize the European economy.

Project SI – School of Italian is financed by the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals and promoted by the Abruzzi Region in collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and the CTPs in Avezzano, Nereto, Pescara, Popoli, Silvi and Sulmona. The initiative provides training for foreign citizens ranging from basic Italian to civic education with custom-tailored e-learning modules and innovative didactic materials.
