The lab will provide teachers with a didactic unit on curricular innovation using digital tools for language learning via the “chunks of language” method with a game-based learning approach. During the first phase, students are involved in a language matching game based on Cram flashcards. Subsequently, they are guided in the creation of an avatar with an app called Voki to work on specific units and short dialogues. To win the game, students have to earn the highest score based on the grid developed by the teachers to allow students to grade each other’s work.
Project "OpenSPACE – Active Participation Spaces for the Educational Community" allows selected by Con i Bambini as part of the Fund to contrast the educational poverty of minors (Adolescence Call), is a four-year project to make communities inclusive and responsible for promoting the educational and cultural growth, as well as to empower pre-adolescents and adolescents. The project is implemented in suburban areas of Bari, Milan, Palermo and Reggio Calabria.
