Carlos Miguel Ramos Cobo, who is nineteen years old and of Cuban origin, grew up in Bologna, where he is now studying Management Engineering at the university.

 

“I love machine learning and neural networks. In my free time, I study how work and try to understand their impact on people’s lives,” he tells us. “I also love meeting talents who are developing their ideas and learn as much as I can from them.” And so, Carlos came into contact with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale, meeting Scientific Director Alfonso Molina as part of the “prize” for the winners of the Tecnopia Award Contest promoted by the Fondazione Homo Ex Machina.

 

In this phone interview with Francesca Meini, an enthusiastic Carlos describes his experience as a trainer for Programme Ambizione Italia for Schools, promoted with Microsoft

Carlos’ motto: You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, falling over and doing again.
