How to Look for Work

Cinzia is nearly 45 anni and is actively looking for employment. She uses LinkedIn to keep up to date on educational and professional opportunities; in fact, she learned about Ambizione Italia for Youth on the social network dedicated to the labour market.

Cinzia read a post shared by Mimosa Marcelletti, who works at the Roma Capitale orientation services for employment, describing the collaboration between Microsoft Italia and the Fondazione Mondo Digitale with the Network of Work Orientation Centres of the City of Rome [see news: For COL Users].

“I decided to follow your course to fill some gaps that block my search for a job,” explains Cinzia. “I hope it will be useful as I now feel more at ease in situations that use to stress me, such as surfing the web safely and communicating on-line.” Thanks to the module on “On-line Writing: Basic Rules for Digital Writing and Efficient Communication,” Cinzia has also learned to write efficient presentation letters and keep a tidy curriculum, two indispensable factors to be selected for any job. Her search for employment continues full speed, explains Cinzia, thanks to these new courses.
