“Hi from Brazil”

“Hi from Brazil”

Prof. Paolo Torda, the coach of Team SPQR Levis - Itis Galileo Galilei in Rome (see news on Robotic Relay), says hi once again from Brazil.

Prof. Torda is in João Pessoa for RoboCup 2014 (July 19-25) and keeps us updated on the results and atmosphere on and off of the competition fields. Quick e-mails written to keep us abreast of details in a quick, efficient and telegraphic fashion!

All’s well here. Day two is over. We had one win and one defeat in individual matches, and a Superteam victory.
The other Italian teams participating in the soccer category have placed midway. They’re doing better in the superteam, but less in the individual matches.
Democrito is doing well in Co-space.
The place is fab, the organization somewhat less […]
I’ll let you know what happens on Day 3. Speak soon,
Paolo

In the RoboCup photo gallery, we found a snapshot of Lorenzo Di Donato (18) participating in the Superteam. He is the young “engineer” on the right-hand side with the black t-shirt and the logo of the Spqr Levis Team. Lorenzo is in João Pessoa with his classmates from the Itis Galileo Galilei Team: Davide Aloisi and Simone Petrangeli.
