In collaboration with SAP, Project Rising Youth helps students to acquire and strengthen digital and soft skills that are necessary to face the challenges and continuous changes taking place on the job market.
The students who participated in the courses throughout the year will participate in a hackathon at RomeCup 2022 on sustainability based on four thematic axes:
- Holistic Steering
- Zer0 emission
- Zer0 waste,
- Zer0 inequality
At RomeCup, 18 teams from four schools (Arangio Ruiz - Rome, Leonardo Da Vinci - Rome, Sandro Pertini - Genzano, Leonardo - Agrigento) were selected to participate in the final hackathon dedicated to the completion of prototypes. The teams will be accompanied by their tutors (Alberto Cuomo, Marina Mulino, Mario Farina, Umberto della Monache and Marco Brocchieri). A jury of experts will evaluate the projects and declare three winners. SAP will also assign two special mentions for the best presentation and the project with the greatest technological impact.
In conceiving and prototyping their innovative solutions, the schools attended an acceleration course, guided by coaches and university tutors from the University of Salerno. Over 600 students from 10 high schools in 4 Italian regions participated in the project: Lazio, Lombardy, Puglia and Sicily. The students are aged 16-18 and are currently enrolled in years 3-5.
