Today, Programme Living Digital returns to IIS Lucio Lombardo Radice in Rome to host a course for 30 students in years four and five. The course on innovation, web presence and cyber security is held by Lara Forgione.

In this interview with Ilaria Bonanni, Computer Science Professor Gabriella Cicchetti explains why she was resolute on conducting the project, a true “gym for didactic activities” at the school.

Through the collaboration with the Fondazione Mondo Digitale and other Italian partners, Project “Digital Living” will provide students with the opportunity to improve their competences and acquire the mentality necessary to fully exploit the new forms of digital economy. In 2018-19, the Living Digital Tour will travel to the main Italian cities and train over 6000 young men and women in the last two years of second-degree secondary school.

The programme will also use group games, videos, on-line platforms and apps to allow students to learn interactively and continue to practice both at home and in their free time. At the end of the training period, each participant will receive a certification of his/her new competences profile.
